My main research focus is cardiopulmonary pharmacology and the interaction between reactive airway diseases and development of cardiovascular diseases. My lab is currently studying asthma pathogenesis and the role of angiotensin ll in subsequent cardiovascular outcomes. The goal is to identify signaling mechanisms involved in cardiovascular dysfunction and develop drug therapies based on the identified targets.
