Allyship Training

Welcome to the Developing Effective Allyship training!

This opportunity was made possible through funding from the WV Higher Education Policy Commission’s FY21 Diversity for Equity Grant.

The WVSOM Diversity Committee has developed this training to help you to consider what it means to be ally, identify the difficulties that members of some identity-based groups may experience and develop a plan for how you, as an ally, can support members of those groups.

The steps to complete the training are:

Complete the pre-survey
Complete Allyship Basics Training:
Complete a training section focusing on Disability, LGBTQ+, Race or Sex, -based experiences:
