WV Code §18B-1-6
All students, beginning with first year, shall be required to have a short white lab coat for required academic activities.
Each coat shall bear a WVSOM insignia patch on the upper left sleeve. This insignia shall be the one approved by the administration and sold by the WVSOM Bookstore.
The student’s legal name shall be embroidered on the coat and the letters “WVSOM” shall be placed below the student’s name.
The embroidery shall be placed on the upper area of the right side of the front of the coat and lettering shall be done in Script #12 font in the color of Dark Green (#1397). All embroidery work shall be arranged through the WVSOM Campus Bookstore.
The student identification badges shall be worn attached to the left lapel or left breast pocket of the coat.
No other designation shall appear on the coat.
This policy shall be in effect as of June 15, 2000, and shall apply to the entering class in the Fall of 2000 and all classes thereafter.
