College/University Campus Visits

A representative from WVSOM visits college and university campuses throughout the country. West Virginia colleges and universities are visited at least twice each year.  This provides an opportunity for you to learn more about osteopathic medicine without leaving your campus. The representative will be available for questions about osteopathic medicine, admission requirements, and financial aid during each visit.

  • Please check with your premed advisor or career services staff for a schedule of events.

Community Visits

During the winter and summer months, representatives from WVSOM visit selected communities. This activity is designed to target non-traditional students who are considering a career in osteopathic medicine; however, all interested persons are welcome to attend.

  • To Be Announced

Information on admission requirements, financial aid and osteopathic medicine will be available at these informal, walk in sessions. For more information contact WVSOM Admissions at (888) 276-7836.

WVSOM Open House

Each year WVSOM hosts a Fall, Spring and Summer Open House for prospective students to learn more about osteopathic medicine and WVSOM.

Each Open House provides information about osteopathic medicine, admissions requirements, financial aid and a campus tour. The prospective students also have the opportunity to meet WVSOM students and faculty.

Campus Tours

Tours of the WVSOM campus are arranged by appointment. If you would like to visit WVSOM, please complete our Campus Visit Request Form. We offer campus tours Monday - Friday.
