Family Atmosphere – A Passion to Serve

Our students know we care about them and their success. Whether it is the concern and follow-up of the admissions department, the faculty committed to each student's learning, the personal attention to students by administration and staff, or the family atmosphere, each student at WVSOM knows that they are in a unique environment.

WVSOM Volunteers

Students at WVSOM practice the principle of “doing well by doing good.” They lead a variety of community service projects throughout the school year to serve the residents of Greenbrier County, the state of West Virginia and locations beyond our borders.18,000+ heart felt hours volunteered in just one year from 348 WVSOM students.

Go Global

Compassion does not have borders. For students whose commitment compels them to go a step further, WVSOM provides opportunities to deliver first response and basic care overseas. Recent medical mission trips have included visits to Peru, Guatemala and Honduras. Students deliver care to patients in need while gaining valuable medical and cultural experiences.
