Financial Aid - General

Your education is one of the most important investments you will ever make.  Our goal is to help you become an informed borrower and to provide a comprehensive system of financial assistance services. Our intent is to provide not only dollar support but financial counseling and debt management planning services as well.  We encourage you to learn some basic budgeting techniques, to learn to cut costs and possibly to learn to live with less.

Loan Information

WVSOM participates in all federally funded financial aid programs including the Federal Stafford Loan, the Federal Perkins Loan, the Graduate/Professional PLUS Loan and Federal Work Study.

We also participate in the Primary Care Loan Program through the Department of Health and Human Services and various alternative loan programs. For a brief discription of these programs, simply click on that program.
